Epoxy Resin is a solvent based primer, specifically recommended for the sealing of newer type chalky cement tiles and fibro roofs. Epoxy Resin is designed to penetrate deeply into the tile or fibro surface, sealing in any loose chalky or powdered surfaces. This product has a lifetime warranty and will not lift off tiles. Epoxy Resin is rapid drying, and requires a minimum 24 hours before the top coats can be applied.

TILE PRIMER

Water Based Resin

• Ideal for older- semi porous tiles (approximately 35 years old)
• Seals tiles that are 25-50% back to bare cement
• Duramul 3500 (thin primer)

Tile Primer is a waterbased resin and has very small particles to penetrate into semi-porous tiles. It is specifically recommended for the sealing of chalky tiles that have lost over 25-50% of their glaze.Tile Primer has excellent adhesive properties ensuring maximum bonding to the cement tiles, thus providing an ideal base to adhere to. Tile Primer is rapid drying, therefore allowing following coatings to be applied after only 60 minutes.

SEALER

Water Based Resin

• Thicker than primer and has excellent adhesion
• Recommended for older, more porous cement roof tiles that have lost their entire colour
• Medium to hard sealer (thick)

The Sealer chosen by Perfect Glaze is significantly thicker than the Tile Primer, it is designed for tiles that have lost their entire glaze and is back to raw cement. The Sealer is also rapid drying and further coatings can be applied within one hour.

Perfect Glaze’s anti-corrosive additives penetrate through the rust to the original metal encapsulating the rusted areas with a barrier impervious to oxygen. The system is based on an acrylic solution which etches the metal roof removing aggressive oxidization and gives the paint something to adhere to, making this product perfect for old iron and cliplock roofs. The turps based rustkill needs to be left for 24 hours before top coats are applied.

HIGH BUILD FILLER (Option 3 & Fibro)

• For very porous, badly worn cement tiles and fibro roofs
• Strengthens weak tiles
• Smoothes the surface on tiles and fibro.

High Build Filler is an integral part of our coating system. Being a waterborne 100% acrylic resin base High Build Filler it is designed to seal and smooth out and resurface badly worn, pitted cement tiles as well as fibro surfaces. Being acrylic based it is extremely compatible with tile and fibro surfaces. High Build Filler offers maximum adhesion to the Epoxy Resin, Tile Primer, Sealer and any following coatings. Utilising advanced technology,the application of the filler coat on your roof will give a more consistent surface whichin turnwill achieve a higher gloss level giving you a better quality finish.
